[新聞公報] 衛生署衛生防護中心今日(二月二十一日)正密切監察由廣東省生和計劃生育委員會(廣東生計生委)通報新增一宗人類感染甲型禽流感(H7N9)個案,並再次呼籲市民不論在本地或外遊期間,應時刻保持個人、食物和環境生。 根據廣東生計生委的資料,該名住在汕頭的四十八歲女病人正留院治療,情況危重。 內地衛生當局至今通報共577宗人類感染甲型禽流感(H7N9)個案,其中廣東166宗,浙江156宗,江蘇70宗,福建58宗,上海45宗,湖南24宗,安徽17宗,新疆10宗,江西9宗,山東6宗,北京5宗,河南4宗,廣西3宗,吉林2宗,貴州1宗及河北1宗。 衛生署發言人表示︰「我們會保持警覺,與世界生組織及相關生部門緊密合作,監察最新發展。」 署方一直在各口岸執行健康監察措施,備有紅外線熱像儀對入境人士進行體溫監測。若發現懷疑個案,會立即轉介至公立醫院跟進。生署港口生處已加強以手提儀器進行體溫監測。
在旅客的健康教育方面,署方在出入境大堂張貼海報及進行健康資訊廣播,加強口岸的環境生巡查,並向旅遊業界和其他持份者定期更新資訊,有關工作將會加強。 抵港旅客,特別是從禽流感受影響地區來港的旅客,若出現發燒或呼吸道病徵,應立即佩戴口罩及求醫,並向醫生報告外遊紀錄。醫護人員應特別留意可能在受影響地區曾經接觸家禽、雀鳥或其糞便的病人。 市民應繼續保持警覺,採取以下措施,預防禽流感: * 不應到訪活禽市場和農場,避免接觸家禽、雀鳥或其糞便; * 一旦接觸,應以肥皂徹底洗手; * 避免到可能屠宰活禽的地區,或接觸可能被家禽或其他動物糞便污染的地方; * 禽鳥及雞蛋應徹底煮熟方可進食; * 經常以肥皂洗手,特別是觸摸口、鼻或眼之前、處理食物或進食前、如廁後、觸摸公共設施或物件(如自動梯扶手、升降機按鈕及門把)後,以及咳嗽或打噴嚏令手沾上呼吸道分泌物後; * 打噴嚏或咳嗽時應掩口鼻,用紙巾包妥痰涎,並放入有蓋垃圾桶; * 避免到人多擠迫的地方,避免接觸發燒病人;及 * 凡有呼吸道病徵,或需照顧發燒病人的人士,均應佩戴口罩。 市民可參閱以下專題網頁,了解更多資料: * 生防護中心禽流感專頁(www.chp.gov.hk/tc/view_content/24244.html);及 * 生防護中心世界各地的禽流感統計數字及受影響地區(www.chp.gov.hk/files/pdf/global_statistics_avian_influenza_c.pdf)。 完 2015年2月21日(星期六)香港時間18時50分 CHP notified of additional human case of avian influenza A(H7N9) in Guangdong The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH) is today (February 21) closely monitoring an additional human case of avian influenza A(H7N9) notified by the Health and Family Planning Commission of Guangdong Province (GDHFPC), and again urged the public to maintain strict personal, food and environmental hygiene both locally and during travel. According to the GDHFPC, the patient is a 48-year-old woman who lives in Shantou. She is currently hospitalised for treatment in critical condition. To date, 577 human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9) have been reported by the Mainland health authorities, respectively in Guangdong (166 cases), Zhejiang (156 cases), Jiangsu (70 cases), Fujian (58 cases), Shanghai (45 cases), Hunan (24 cases), Anhui (17 cases), Xinjiang (10 cases), Jiangxi (nine cases), Shandong (six cases), Beijing (five cases), Henan (four cases), Guangxi (three cases), Jilin (two cases), Guizhou (one case) and Hebei (one case). "Locally, we will remain vigilant and work closely with the World Health Organization and relevant health authorities to monitor the latest developments," a spokesman for the DH said. All boundary control points have implemented health surveillance measures. Thermal imaging systems are in place for body temperature checks on inbound travellers. Suspected cases will be immediately referred to public hospitals for follow-up. The DH's Port Health Office has enhanced body temperature checks with handheld devices. Regarding health education for travellers, the display of posters and broadcasting of health messages in departure and arrival halls, environmental health inspection and provision of regular updates to the travel industry and other stakeholders will be enhanced. Travellers, especially those returning from avian influenza-affected areas with fever or respiratory symptoms, should immediately wear masks, seek medical attention and reveal their travel history to doctors. Health-care professionals should pay special attention to patients who might have had contact with poultry, birds or their droppings in affected areas. The public should remain vigilant and take heed of the advice against avian influenza below: * Do not visit live poultry markets and farms. Avoid contact with poultry, birds or their droppings; * If contact has been made, thoroughly wash hands with soap; * Avoid entering areas where poultry may be slaughtered and contact with surfaces which might be contaminated by droppings of poultry or other animals; * Poultry and eggs should be thoroughly cooked before eating; * Wash hands frequently with soap, especially before touching the mouth, nose or eyes, handling food or eating; after going to the toilet or touching public installations or equipment (including escalator handrails, elevator control panels and door knobs); and when hands are dirtied by respiratory secretions after coughing or sneezing; * Cover the nose and mouth while sneezing or coughing, hold the spit with a tissue and put it into a covered dustbin; * Avoid crowded places and contact with fever patients; and * Wear masks when respiratory symptoms develop or when taking care of fever patients.
