Introduction

Built to meet the healthcare needs of the rapidly-growing population in the northern New Territories, this acute Hospital began to operate in phases during 1998. It provides both in-patient and out-patient services with a focus on ambulatory care, as well as community outreach services. To support the hospital in improving the physical and mental health of the public in the local community, North District Hospital Charitable Foundation was established in June 2007.
